The Red Chapel
Directed by Mads Brügger
A Lorber Films Release
Synopsis
Winner of the World Cinema Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, Mads Brügger’s documentary follows a trio of Danish comedians as they pretend to be regime sympathizers and mount an absurd variety show in North Korea. Combining the muckracking spirit of Michael Moore with the confrontational comedy of Borat, The Red Chapel is an unconventional, hilarious and damning peek into a totalitarian regime.
